Daniel Foley

Daniel Foley is a San Francisco investment real estate broker specializing in the acquisition, disposition, and 1031 exchange of apartment buildings, mixed-use assets, and value-add investment properties. With more than $300 million in completed transactions, he brings deep market knowledge and a straightforward approach to advising his clients.

Daniel's clients range from families who have owned a single building for generations to private and institutional investors managing active portfolios. He understands that each client has different goals and circumstances and tailors his advice accordingly, with an honest assessment of value, practical guidance, and clear communication throughout the process. When bringing a property to market, Daniel combines targeted marketing with direct outreach to qualified buyers to drive strong results.

Daniel began his commercial real estate career with Colliers International and joined Compass Commercial in 2017. Raised in the North Bay and now calling San Francisco home, he attended San Diego State University. He's an active member of The Olympic Club, the San Francisco Association of Realtors, the SF Multifamily Marketing Group, and the San Francisco Apartment Association. He also supports City Surf Project, a nonprofit that introduces underserved San Francisco youth to surfing.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with family, cheering on the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors, and sailing the Bay aboard Tonka with his wife and their dog, Rio.
